    Babywearing support

Babywearing is a way for new parents to bond with their baby, keep their baby close, and be able to multitask freely. It allows parents to be active and take their baby with them, as they journey through the fourth trimester. I can help you with fit checks and tips to make you and baby more comfortable, and show you how to wear your baby safely!

Babywearing support is done in person during a scheduled postpartum visit at no additional charge.

    Biologically normal infant sleep

What is normal when it comes to infant sleep? What does biology and instinct lead us to do when it comes time for the family to sleep? How do you support your baby to ensure their sleep needs are being met, and do so safely? Why have a routine verses a schedule? What about bedsharing, cosleeping, and sleep training?

Parent support for infant sleep is done on an as-needed basis, and each session is 60-90 minutes in length. I will observe your baby’s sleeping arrangements, give feedback, and provide you with resources for you to be able to make educated choices that are best for your family.

Cost is $65.00 per virtual session or $100.00 for in person consultation.

    Breastfeeding Basics

Breastfeeding is the natural way to feed your baby, but that doesn’t mean it always comes naturally, easily, or without a need for a little extra help. I can help you with positioning, latch, how to gauge adequate milk transfer, basic troubleshooting, and assistance for the pumping mom, and more. I will also help you with recommendations if there is a need for bodywork (chiropractic and craniosacral therapy) or an IBCLC.

Lactation support is provided as needed, and is available to all nursing mothers. Virtual support is available, but if there are significant concerns or needs, in person support may be necessary.

Cost is $25.00 for 30 minutes or $45.00 per hour.

    Childbirth Education

What are your options when it comes to how and where you give birth? What type of interventions may be necessary? What is informed consent and how do you use it in the birth space? Why does who is on your birth team matter more than what is on your birth plan? What are the stages of labor? When should you go to go to the hospital? What is evidence based practice and how can you use it to your advantage? What to expect in the immediate postpartum? We will go over what happens when birth plans change and medical intervention may be necessary. I will teach you what you need to be prepared, educated, empowered, and ready, for your birth!

Group classes or individual classes available, in person or virtually. Class will meet for two hours once a week for four weeks, for a total of eight hours of learning time.
